Our Story

Cameron Holt grew up in Park City, Utah—skiing, mountain biking, and filmmaking shaped his love for adventure. Jaidon Matthews is from Olympia, Washington, where surfing, skiing, and baseball eventually led him to playing Division 1 ball.

The two met at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, and while they claimed to “study,” most days were spent surfing, hiking, and exploring Oʻahu. They shared a love for the outdoors and the same issue: after long days in the sun, salt, jungle, and sweat, their skin was wrecked.

Like most college guys, they grabbed whatever skincare they could find and hoped for the best. Instead, they ended up with acne, dryness, irritation—and zero results. So they went back to basics and searched for something real… something natural… something that fit the lifestyle they lived.

That’s when they discovered beef tallow—a simple, nutrient-rich remedy used for generations.

That’s how Paniolo was born — skincare inspired by the Hawaiian cowboy spirit: natural, honest, and built to keep up with life outdoors.
